SCHOOL PROJECTS
Christmas Production
Our school tradition is to organise a Christmas Production during the Christmas season, it is combined with a market fair of decorations made by our students, and the collected money is donated to charity.
For many years, Christmas Productions have been held on the boards of all Szczecin theaters, while for the last few years the performance has been taking place in the modern conference room of ZUT and it is an event to which we invite entire families of the SIS community.
Christmas card competition
Traditionally, every year SIS, together with the North-East Multinational Corps Command, organises an art competition for a Christmas card. Each year, students and teachers jointly propose a motto to inspire the card. The award-winning cards are then distributed by the Corps as Christmas cards and, along with greetings, sent to 200 different locations around the world. SIS also sends them as Christmas cards - an achievement that everyone can be proud of.
Language certificates
Bearing in mind the high level of foreign language teaching at SIS and meeting the achievements of our students, the school correlated the requirements of international programmes with external language examinations at the following international centers:
- The British Council
- Alliance Francaise
- Goethe Institut
International conferences
The Model United Nations is a popular student initiative of multi-thematic political education by simulating the meetings of the United Nations and its international organisations - the Security Council, ECO-SOC, Disarmament and Human Rights, to name a few. In this project, students become ambassadors of UN member states and debate on current problems in the world. While playing the role of ambassadors and/or delegates, students deliver speeches, prepare draft resolutions, negotiate with allies and opponents, resolve conflicts, adhering to the rules of UN conferences, all in order to mobilise "international cooperation" to solve problems that affect countries all over the world.
